Lost Weekend

Great old movie about alcoholism with Ray Milland, and while I wasn’t even close to tipsy, the entire weekend got lost in a blur of getting things ready for the husband’s lab party thing and then the aftermath.  It was only after falling into bed at midnight on Saturday that I realized I hadn’t blogged.  Didn’t make a cake Sunday but spent most of the day achieving consciousness and being fretful about my bloody knee.

THE DAY

I’m still fretful about the knee.  I really think I did something major here.  Waking up the last few mornings horribly stiff, unable to hobble without pain.  Eating ibuprofen like there’s no tomorrow.  Today, I spent all day working with the leg up and either an ice pack or heating pad draped over the thing.  Didn’t exercise at ALL, which is driving me crazy, too.

Still managed to work.  I’m not at all sure this is a workable outline, but I worked on it.  I just … I’m not sure about the direction here even though I still like where it ends up.  I just don’t know how to get there. :<P
